Hi all, well as one door closes another opens is what my mum has always told me and well it has for me in that I am now a Stampin up Demonstrator, I have actually been doing it for a little while but could not get round to doing anything more than just order what I wanted and a few things for friends , I am now starting a stamping 10 , this is how it works;

Virtual Workshop (Stampers 10 Group)

Ever wondered what a Virtual Hostess club (Stampers 10 Group) entails? Well here is a bit more information:-

A Virtual Hostess club (Stampers 10 Group) is an opportunity for you to build up a collection of NEW Stampin Up! products over a period of time while spreading the cost and, ensuring that you receive amazing hostess benefits associated with a qualifying order. A qualifying order has a minimum value of £150. The hostess of the month will then be eligible for the following FREE benefits:-

* One level one hostess stamp set of her choice (these are sets that cannot be bought, and can only be earned free with qualifying orders of £150 or more)

* £15.00 worth of free product to be spent as you wish in the catalogue.

So here comes our Virtual Workshop: 10 people get together - I advertise for those people you don't have to provide them yourself (although of course if you know a crafting friend who would love to be part of this group, please let her/him know) and form a club. The club runs for 10 months, with each member agreeing to place a minimum order of £15.00/ month plus p&p. This will give the group, the minimum qualifying order needed every month. Each month a DIFFERENT member in the club gets to be the hostess and collects all the free benefits associated with that month’s total. By the end of the 10 months all the members in the club will have had their turn to be the hostess.

It really is as easy as that and, each month a box of goodies will drop on your doorstep. You will also get a FREE copy of the catalogue and any mini catalogues released throughout the club duration.

The End of an Era so SAD!

I am feeling sad and a little lonely now that the very last kit from me has gone out to all you lovely people , I want to SHOUT OUT MY SINCERE THANKS TO ALL MY SUBSCRIBERS !! ok shout over , I am really grateful to all the subscribers past and present . It has been an honour to do these kits for you all and I have enjoyed every minute of it.

The last kit is not pictured as I wanted it to reach you all first so I will post it on here tomorrow if I can find the battery charger for the camera. Then I will get it on .

This blog will from now on be used to display the things I make as I really want to start actually do things with the wonderful stash I have.

Thanks again for your loyalty to my business and I hope that when you see the delights Karen over at Duck Pond crafts will put in the kits.

Neapolitan

Just loved these colours together and when my dear friend saw them she straight away said ooh Neapolitan Ice Cream so thats what we have have Neapolitan.
I have so enjoyed shopping for the bits to go with this so I hope you enjoy the kit as much as I do .

There are a few more bits yet to come but wanted to make sure you could see them before hand this month , my camera was playing up last month and the photos did not get done as quickly as I would have liked.

New In!!!

Hi all ,

I have some new Ribbon rings in they are by far the best way of storing ribbons I have found and I have a tried a fair few things, tins with holes in , bags with holes in both these ended up the ribbons getting tangled. Ribbon wound round card oh boy that was a effort. Well these are fab and just hang onto a book ring easy peasy and they hold even small pieces and each slide holds more than one ribbon depending on how wide it is , it will take ribbon up to 1" wide .

This is a great way and if you look around you will see the price is a really good deal.

April Images are finally here, today was a lovely sunny day here and I took advantage of the sun.

Here are the images I promised a few days ago and I think the colours this month are fab, and very easterish if there is such a word.

Spring is definatly here and we have reflected this in this months kit and it will be fluttering to you very soon, pics of the kit will be added tomorrow as by the time I had got my craft room into some sort of order to put things together (running late as usual) it had got too dark.....

The colours are just lush Purple, Yellow and Turquoise and they look just perfect. I have found some nice bits and pieces to go with them as well , some gorgeous ribbon and lace. So be sure pop back tomorrow to see the pics .

Changes !!!

OK so changes are afoot with Crafty Feeling..... I have decided due to home commitments with my family to only run the monthly subscription kits for now and put a hold on the web shop for the time being. It has been a very eventful year for me and I thank you all for understanding and being there for me.

The March kit went out on the 10th so by now you will all have received them and I hope you are all happy with them.

New buttons to purchase add ons will appear over the next few weeks and the same for bits and pieces I will be selling off due to the store closing. Please if you need something you don't see email me as I may just have it.

February Kit mmmm .....

February Kit mmmm......

Well this months kit has come round far too quickly , we have had problems with our house move and this has been costly and annoying and so we are still surrounded in boxes, it is just as well I had got everything ready for the Jan, Feb and March kits as I think had I to go shopping for things it would have been frantic.

So without further ado I give you .............Delicious ( Please note pics are not the best as the light was bad but trust me the colours are fab )

Please note that this month some of the items will differ slightly in some of the kits I wanted to include some items I have been saving for the right kit but because of increasing numbers of subscribers I have not enough so some kits will have different but just as nice items....

Kits will be posted out on the 10th as usual and am looking forward to seeing what you make of these colours.

January Kits Away and News

January Kits have been sent on the 10Th so by now you should have had them and I hope you are happy with them for those who do not subscribe I have two spaces on this months kits subscription. You can email me if you are interested in becoming a subscriber. This months kit is made up of flowers and roses in lovely colours with ribbon and brads to match (please note that the brads will differ in each kit )

I will also announce now that as of next month the kits will change slightly , I will upload images with next months kit by the end of this week so you can see but I have to inform you now that as of February the kits I am afraid will increase in price.

I have being doing the kits for two years this coming March without a price increase and not raised my prices even though the pricing of postage has gone up two or three times and had two increases in flower prices as well , now that the Vat has gone up all the items I buy to put into the kits have gone up and as I cannot claim back Vat because of not being VAT registered . I don't like doing this but it is out of necessity that I do to be able to make the kits affordable and worth doing. The prices will be as follows £11.00 for UK subscribers and £12.00 for international subscribers. If you have a Voile bag with your kit an extra 30p will be added to your bill.

As you know I normally ask for one months notice on kits as I buy in advance but on this occasion if you wish to cancel your subscription before the price goes up as long as I have it by the 20Th of January I will cancel and accept it as your months notice.

Website Closed for Refurb and Refresh

Hi Everyone,

Well I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your friends and families, I certainly did , having my eldest home for the first time in 4 years was great and this year was just fab I got presents and nice ones!!..

I have now shut down the website for now until about the middle of January, this is because of an impending house move 400 miles away and also as I want to re-do the website and get rid of the things not selling well and adding more new lines. So please bear with me and I will try and get things going as soon as possible.

I thank you all so very much for your loyalty and patience with me this year it has been a difficult year and I have had some really tough times, but I am through them now and things will get back to normal and hopefully you will like the new things happening with the company.

Our December kit is based around New Year and those lovely men in their Tuxedo's and ladies in Red Dresses.......

Well here are some lovely images to let you drool and this months kit is even better value as there are more ribbons and extra bits including roses and glitter.

I do hope you enjoy this kit and will continue with me next year allthough there will be some changes in the kits next year ... More news to follow over the next few weeks as I have a look at the new suppliers.

So are you a traditional Christmas Person or do you like the New Contemporary Colours we now have? Well I couldn't decide, so this months kit is one of two halfs and will give the choice to you the customer to use which bits you like best.

The New Stamps from Wild Rose are here and wow they are just soo cute better than the pictures in real life as well . I especially love this one he is called Fergus and I think could make the cutest card to send to friend who is serving or even to be sold in aid of Help for heroes or poppy appeal.
He is joined by three more stamps of him doing different things......

and then another four lovely lady stamps super for winter , christmas and for New year .

Busy Weekend

Hi All,

Well I had a busy weekend this week what with shopping for last minute things for my daughter to go to PGL with the school, finding walking boots and waterproofs for the adventure training she will be doing along with canooing, climbing and riding.

And then on Sunday went along to my local crop this time without the shop as there where not many people there and we were in the smaller room. I was on a run and mnanaged to do six layouts four to help out a my friend Quackas promote her lovely new kits which are sold as cardmakers kits but I used them as I sometimes scrap in 6 x12 and they turned out great.....

This lovely little crop needs new members and the cost is based on how many people we have there so the more we get the less the cost will be , my shop is usually there so you get to see some goodies and more than anything the people there as just lovely so friendly and funny...for more info on the Whittle le Woods crop please email me.

Help for Heroes Special Edition Kit Available Now !!!!

Most of you know I have a son in the Army and he is at present training in readiness to go on a tour of duty to Afganistan. As I was watching the Concert held for the charity last week I felt very humbled and decided I would try and do something for the charity that does so much good for our Troups .

So I have come up with a Special Edition Kit called Help for Heroes which I will keep doing until the need is no longer there it contains loads of flat flowers , bunches of roses and more and bling or pearls , buttons , dewdrops and heaps of ribbon all to go with the colours of the three forces represented by Help For Heroes.

ALL PROFIT FROM THIS KIT WILL GO TO HELP FOR HEROES !!!!

In additon to this anyone who subscribes from this month I will give all profit from this months kit and also £1.00 from every further kit you buy until you stop subscribing.

I will be keeping one of these kits to raffle and I propose to do this by asking you to donate by paypal into my account £1.00 I will then add each name into Mr Linky and draw a winner
on the 11th October 2010 which is my sons 21st Birthday I will come back later tonight and add the details on the blog and also on the website to enable you to pay into the paypal account.

They where all posted friday so start stalking your postie's now if you have not already got yours ..... and well now so what do we move onto now .. mmmm I think next month I have been asked again by mainly the card makers to provide the colours for the occasions such as halloween , valentines and mainly Christmas earlier than when they are to give you the chance to make the cards for the occasion and so I have taken this onboard and I have decided to do the following,

Halloween will be out as this year a month early in September
Christmas will be out in October (please let me know if you think this should be earlier or if you think a special edition christmas kit is better)
Valentine will be out in December
Easter will be out in February

Well the six weeks is nearly up and I have been just an awful blogger ....... so sorry about that I have loads to tell you and show you but I have lost the charger for my camera and have torn apart the house looking for it so I can show the new goodies, I have decided that I will go buy one tomorrow and whats you bet I then come home and find it.

So no pictures but the september kit is purple, yellow , lime and black and well I have a ribbons set and a rose selection to go with them for the subscribers section and some little extras as well but mmm well somethings are best kept secret.

Under a mountain of the most delicious ribbon and lovely flowers and blooms , I have the blooms in for next months kit, yes August I am playing with them now.....

I have taken delivery of just over three hundred reels of ribbons including rikrak, sheer, grograin, and gingham.

July Summer Sizzler!

So the July Kit images have at last been done and will be winging there way to the subscribers in the morning

I just love these colours so bright and funky and with a little added something for those with a sweet tooth........ I have again this month added in a couple of the large roses I have got in for the web shop but it has got me thinking that I do a bloom kit and what are the Roses mmm lets see oh yes blooms of a sort...

Ok so my question is with a lot of you using these roses on your cards at the moment would you like to see more of the roses to go with your kits and less of the flat flowers or just dont mess with a good thing. I could still co-ordinate the colours and add the button ribbon and such just change some of the flowers for roses and other stem flowers . Please leave a comment if you have a preference.

Also I have a few new things in and one is a selection of blingie things that where in this months Magnolia mag I noticed when it arrived this morning. So here are a few images to tease......

Well I have at last bought a new camera and well in one day over 200 photos of well just about everything, but one thing I did take photos of was the new flowers I have in stock and they are lovely....

Hey soo cute are the new stamps from Wild Rose Studios company there is one that is my favourite and its the collection that is Named Kira and I think there are about three or four of her in different poses she is adorable and also the new selection of Milton and his pals.

Well one of the bad things about separating from my husband was that the camera , was his and I just have not been able to find one I want. .... so here at last are the images for this months kit well some of them anyway..

Moving !! Oh what a Royal pain and Milton is back

Well today was moving day for me and craftyfeeling and well what a pain ...... I had some really good friends helping me and we did it in just two trips but the house is completly upside down and I have ended up spending the night somewhere else and will start fresh in the morning.

I had a room all sorted for the craft and work area and yesterday was told it needed reflooring so they are coming on monday to lay concreate and so wont be able to use the room for a good week.. what a pain as I now have boxes everywhere and nowhere to put them or unpack them either... thank goodness I got the kits out early. I would really like to know what you all thought this month as I try new things. I really hope you liked this months kit.

On the upside of the hard work this week we have restocks of Wild Rose Studios Stamps, papers and brads arriving on Tuesday so don't miss out this time. I will be adding them to the website this weekend but will not be shipped till Tuesday or Wednesday Depending on what time they arrive.

It may be a few days until I post again but I will be checking emails so please let me know your feedback..

A happy Tuesday to all , well we are on the move again the house I rented just before Christmas was on the market and I knew we would have to find somewhere else but it was a stopgap until I could find somewhere nice and we have and will be moving this weekend. for about ten days I am going to have limited access to the internet so please bear with me in answering anything...

On the plus side the kits will be posted out early this month as I would like them gone before we move to save unpacking in a rush so start stalking the postie as I am taking them to the post office tomorrow .

For anyone still looking but not sure we only have one kit these have been so popular so if you dithering go on give it a go we have great kits and they can only now get better.... PLease if anyone has any questions please just pop me an email and I will answer any questions you have.

Rare moment

Hi There ,

Well this is a rare occassion as I just dont seem to find the time to do things these days what with being a single mum now and moving again soon (warning warning dizzy moments ahead so bear with me), we have had some new flowers in this week the ones with the stems on and I really wanted to show the size of them so sat down and made a few cards with them on.

I have enjoyed pottering this week and getting a couple of things done along with a cj I should have done a week ago... so maybe I will get some more done now that I have started.

Hi all , I have been thoroughly told off this week for not blogging everyday or at least more often , however I have been very busy sorting the subscribers corner and also trying to sort out a new side bar on the blog where you can all upload your lovely offerings using craftyfeeling products.

HI all

I have again this month got the kits out on time and they are just lovely the colours where making my eyes go funny this month so much green and although it is my favourite colour I have to say there is only so much green one can deal with......

Anyway next month will see a slight change in the kits with even more colours in each kit and also new items turning up in the kits... I am also working on new packaging as the current one for posting just is not working for me.

My first retreat

Well I am off on my first retreat tomorrow for the weekend so there will be no orders processed or posted until Monday.

I am so excited and looking forward to this as I really need a break after the events of the last few months.... My little westie got run over last Monday and has been very very poorly and had to have major surgery , she is on the long road to recovery now and is staying until Monday my ex as it is quieter there. So a well needed break coming for me away from the children and daily routine lots of scrapping and card making to be done a nice swim in the evening and lots of nice food and company.

I have been given the delivery date of early next week for the new stamps and paper pads so watch this space and keep checking the website as I will try and upload all the images over the next few days.

I am just soooooooooo excited , I made an order from a new stamp company at stitches and they said they wouold have to first of all verify that I was a bonafide retailer and then it would be first come first served with the web only retailers as they did not want to awash the market.

Well they rang this afternoon I have paid for the order and well they have accepted us and the order will be despatched on Monday next week. YIPPEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

So to let the cat out of the bag the company is Wild Rose Studios and the stamps and papers etc are jsut sooooo cute!. I hope they will be popular and that you all like them.

Stitches trade show

Hi All,

I got back from the trade show in Birmingham on Monday and was a little disappointed with the lack of traders there this year I got round the whole show in less than half a day , normally it would take me two to three days. Even with this I managed to make a few orders and will have some scrummy new things coming in including some wonderful stamps that are sooooooo cute...... more info soon when I have conformation of the despatch time. I have also bought some other new products but will let the cat out of the bag when I known when they will be here.

I have popped in about five different greens in this kit and of course white so more colours than in the usual kits... this may become a feature of the new kits!

Phew kits out and on time!

Phew that was close !!! kits out today and winging their way to you all now...... that was a close call as I am again surrounded in boxes after trying to finish clearing out my mums house, what a job that is 77 of rubbish , 3 fish steamers 2 kettles , 5 yes icecream scoops !!!! goodness knows what was in her mind there!.

I am now getting ready for the next kit and buying all the bits you have seen some of the sneak peeks , I have been super organised with this one for some reason.

I have also been looking at a load of new ribbon from the states and new brads.....

February Bloom Kit

Introducing February's Bloom Kit,

"Wear Your Heart"

I have finally got together the kit for february and it will go out this week to the design team and the rest of you on the 10th..... I do hope you like this kit and there some lovely buttons and brads and a bit of bling , some truly scrummy ribbon and die cuts included.

I love the hand and foot brads and also the little shell buttons , the brads and dew drops are jujst a little addition.

I do hope you like this kit and look forward to your comments.

Things are definatly changing in the Crafty Feeling Camp we have Clair form Horners Corner helping with the changes to the blog (so dont be surpised if its different every time you come for a while.. ) There will soon be a poll on the blog for you to let me know what you prefer in the size of blooms etc and the additions to try and alter and add to the kits.

The subscribers corner will come out to you all tomorrow evening as soon as I have managed to upload all the new pictures and products.

There have been lots of changes in my life and these will probably continue to chage for a while yet so please bear with me ... this also includes new things coming to the company for the better I hope.

Back at last

Well I am now back online "HOORAH"!! after what can only be described as one hell of a Christmas and end of year I am firmly looking forward to a better 2010.

As Helen has said in previous posts we have been looking at the kits and working on how to improve them and continue to give good value for money and make them different from last year.... there where a few that I keep getting asked for again and again (its amazing what a bar of chocolate can do) !!!

Anyway moving on I have been asked a couple of times if the kits are smaller than when we started, the answer is no they are not however the voile bags they come in are smaller due to an error on my part in ordering, there are still the same amount of flowers although some of the flowers have changed as some have been discontinued by my supplier and new flowers have arrived such as the butterfly's and Sophie flowers. I would be interested to hear from all of you if you do or don't like any of the flowers we are sending out and whether you would like more larger flowers or less of them and more of the smaller flowers..

I am trying to source new ribbon and new brads and extras for the kits i have taken delivery of some new dies to give a better range of die cuts in the kits and again would like to see some feedback on this . I will be sending a copy of this to those who do not watch the blog. As something else I would like to if possible link the blogs we have permanently so I have everybody who has a blog to be in the side bar of this my company blog .... anyone who can advise on this please give me the know how .

Please keep the images coming of you creations they really are looking great and there are some truly great talented people out there.

OK, so Jayne has put me right on the spot and has asked me to take over the blog as a temporary measure but with a view to sharing later on!!! For anyone who doesn't know me, I'm Helen, Jaynes very bestest friend in the whole wide world!!! LOL!!! She still has boxes waiting to be sorted at home (she has unpacked the kettle AND the blooms of course!!) SO, I'm giving her a small break!!

Well, how about the January kit? I have to admit, my first thoughts were "Lovely colours" and then "PANIC, how am I going to use Tartan?" but I unearthed an old photo of one of my daughters and the kit became absolutely perfect!! I think this is going to be one of my favourite layouts for quite a while! I hope you subscribers will enjoy using this kit as much as I have.

Jayne sends her apologies for the lack of a "Subscribers corner" this month and promises to make it up to us next month. What has she got in store for us?..................wait and see!!

Does not always go to plan ......... I have had such a bad week this week but have managed to get all the kits in the post on time Phew!!! ......... life really does take a turn sometimes and mine has this week.

I have seperated from my husband am moving my mother who has dementia on Tuesday and moving myself over the next week as well. So please bear with me if I have made a few mistakes hopefully I have managed to get everything in the right place and to the right person.

I will be taking the site down over christmas to rejig some bits and when we come back there will be a fab sale of items from the website so please watch out for this .

Royal mail and our holidays

Sooo we are back from our trip to Salisbury and we had a great time... I came back to a few orders and guess what no mail !!! I wonder why?? oh yes those selfish people from Royal Mail on strike again they just don't think about the small business's that cant afford to get in couriers for small parcels and the like.

While we where away I finished off the kits ready to post with my trusty friend Helen and we posted the DT their kits... special delivery and guess what they still have not arrived !! bloody Royal Mail I just get soo fed up.

Oh My !!!! I am a bad blogger I should really update this blog daily or at least weekly but time goes so quick.

feeling proud of myself I am!

Ok this is the first effort of making anything remotely not flat and simple (ie curtain and table cloth) and I am rather proud of it......

It is a lunch box for my daughter Rosie and will when it is finally finished had a bag charm thingie on it. The inside is quilted cloth but rather than follow the pattern which says stitch it into the bag I am going to velcro it in so I can take it out and wash It when it gets mucky ( every day with Rosie) ( I may just make tw inserts)!!

Well what a week I have had my best friend and her family here all since friday and they went home last night taking my daughter with them to spend a few days with another friend. It has been great but hectic I really enjoy when they are here and never want them to leave I always run out of time for doing the things we want to do......... Like Helen said we fit three weeks worth of stuff into three days.!

Anyway I had an email from Marcea one of the subscribers with some images of the lovely work she does and attached are just a few of them.... also Bev has been busy again and we have the new kit for September and the images will be on here later tonight or in the morning.

I also have been busy sewing (yes me sewing) and I have well and truly been bitten by this bug....

This is a close up of blooms from one of the past kits with the small blue roses self adhesive from the paper roses in packets they are just the right size and are great to work with.
This is the full image of the use of the pale blue and pink blooms with a few cream blooms and againthe small blue and pink roses from the packets.
This one is a close up of the jasmine blooms in cream and the dark red roses with the stems just cut off and glued in the centre. I love this look and just cant get enough of doing this with my blooms. I have not included a full picture of this layout as the child in the picture is not mine and so did not want to publish his picture without the permission.

Slave for a week!!!!!!

Ok I came up to Scotland for a well earned break and to get the kids out from under Martin's feet, what do I get ?? I have been to ikea picked up a unit and chairs took them back to karen's fitted them together, we collected another unit bought off ebay (bargain).

We had a day out in Glasgow doing the museum's had a great day , came home shattered and crafted for a while.

Then today after having another day off yesterday going to see my dad, we went to do some more shopping , well a girl has to shop ( that is until the kids want more than you have)!!! we bought more units this time for the kitchen and then had such a giggle trying to put them together !!! me on the kitchen floor then moving the old unit out and the new in what a palava anyway its all in and looks puka!!

We have been sat tonight painting some little caddy's we picked up in ikea watching a horror movie (not my idea I have nightmares) ....... and we will post them when finished as they are in this month's colours.

Tomorrow is my last full day here and we are crafting crafting crafting , we are going to tie the kids up gag them and if necessary we will bury them in the garden!!! ooh should I say that on here.. mmm maybe maybe not! anyway whatever we will be crafting.

sooooo look back soon and come back and see what Karen and I have produced.

well what a weekend I am up in Scotland with karen (aka quackas) from UKS and we are having a ball she really is a slave driver today we are going to get a kitchen unit and I have to fit it, yesterday I escaped and saw my dad and step mum who live in Scotland as well and the day before we moved Katie's room about (told ya slave driver)!!!!

Anyway diversing I have had two more cards sent which I think may be on their blogs (am off to check in a mo) They have both produced some really lovely cards hence the title and here they are.

Yes thats right Bev and Jacque and have been up to their tricks again and produced some stunning work.

Bev 's first with a red blue and white card to go with this months kit. Then Jacque's creation with the new Magnolia Pet collection stamps and she has some lovely blog candy so pop over there!

SO ladies I have shown what some of you are doing with your kits please so email me with your images so they can be showcased here and so you can leave comments and make suggestions.

New Products

We have loads of new products to launch this week , Sarah from sarahs cards told me she is n ot going to be doing card kits anymore as her scrap kits take so much time and have just gone mad (they should as well as they are super duper ) if you want to see look here I sub to this kit and can promise you that you will not be disappointed.

Anyway I degress ....... the fact that she is not going to do them anymore got me to thinking that I would have a little go and see if I could produce some Christmas ones for those lovely organised people (not me) so I have started with some of the lovely christmas papers form American crafts and added some lovely ribbons, card stock and blooms.

Can't blog for long this morning my hubby and I are off to look at a new school for our children this morning as we are not at all happy with their current school.

Anyway Helen called me last night and showed me her lovely layout using this months kit already I think its lovely .
