New layouts & a New Business not bad eh!

Ok so well things here have been a bit manic. I have been off work since the 1st December and it looks like I am going to lose my job....... and even so I am currently only getting Statutary sick pay which everyone knows is peanuts! so with this in mind I have decided to go back into the craft business part time at first just in case my job is ok but I have Martin busy putting up the website and I have been buying wholesale blooms and bits and pieces to go with them to make up kits. I really miss the kits Rebecca used to do and presume so many other do as well so with this in mind will start a blooms kit business with a few extra bits growing with time.

I am going to sponsor on UKS and start an ebay shop for other bits and hopefully get something off the ground.

In the meantime being off I have had time to do a few layouts.... and here they are

My Christmas Journal

I started Shimelle's Journal my Christmas worried a little of keeping up as I usually fall asleep not long after I get home from work. So when I had the accident on Sunday I thought it would give me the ideal opportunity to get on and keep up with the daily prompts.

Well here I am three days later and just finished the first three pages. I am sort of happy with what I have done but as most of my school reports said "could be better".....

Well What a Start

Well as the Title Says what a start to December. For those reading and not knowing I have had problems with Knees for a long time and had multiple surgery on my right knee, the last op being August 2006. It has been getting worse over the last few months and I have seen a new Consultant who has said they may finally give me a new Knee.

Anyway on Sunday night as I was getting out of the bath my knee decided to give way and I fell out of the bath onto my bad knee and my right hip.

Then basically I was taken by Ambulance to Blackburn Hospital and xrayed and prodded and pocked given a pair of crutches as I cannot put any weight on my right leg and told to go home and see my doctor in a few days when the swelling had gone down to be referred to the consultant . Then they gave me more news.......... by the way did you know you have grade (or maybe type) 4 arthritis in both my Hips! great eh....

So onward soldier(as the hymn goes but missing out the christian bit) and cope with the pain
and get on with it !

So my first page of Shimelle's Journal your Christmas is all about spending half the night in an A&E dept. I will take photos later and of days one and two and see what everyone thinks.

ooh not long now till we start Shimelle's class for Christmas and I cannot wait.

I need to take my mind off things that are happening in our family at the moment, we have just found out this week that my mother has terminal cancer lymphatic cancer and needs to have chemotherapy. This will affect the other medication she is on as she has lots wrong with her so we are not sure how things will go. My family and I all remain hopeful and cheerful as does our mum who has surprised us all with her cheerful manner.

So I have signed up for lots to keep me occupied and help me give my mum things to do to help me.
I have been given a gift by my bessie of the shimelle class and am delighted to include in my blog her logo thingie as per her email today.

Tuesday Blues

Well home from work, I had to collect my son as he had been at nanny's for the night on a spoil me sleep over...... He came home with pj's slippers new trousers and socks and loads more....

I am tired today and feeling a little miffed at not getting on the main list for the Warrington crop I had been say there waiting and answered straight away but there where people alot faster than me so I got on the reserve list. Here's me now hopping people have to drop out so I can go.

I have booked our last minute holiday and am going to Dunoon in Scotland with the kids and mum this Saturday, Martin is in Vegas (lucky thing) for a week so Im all alone (but eagerly waiting him coming back with the stash I am having sent to his hotel for him to bring back.

I am going to take my laptop with me but not sure I will find a hotspot with bt connection. I hope I can get some access as I need my Ukscrappers fix.

A few things for sale

Hi,

I have a few things for sale and over the next few days I will post these items and hope you like the look of them.

here is the first ; This is a rack I bought from Paper Adventures when I had my shop and just a short time after I closed due to ill health. Until June this year the rack was wrapped in bubble wrap and stored in a dry storage place.

It just does not fit in with my craft room as I have very definate ideas about what I want in there.

I paid £90 for it and would like around £30.00 but I will consider all offers.
